Hands of Hope Foundation
Supporting Caregivers and Families

Testimonials
We are proud to provide much needed comfort and services to residents of the Prince George's County community. The services that we offer are making a difference in the lives of people who may be struggling to deal with their new or sometimes long-standing role of caretaker. Our support group offers a welcoming setting to learn how to care for yourself, express yourself, and enjoy yourself--all in a safe place among your peers. Here's what our supporters are saying about our program.
When initially caring for my mother, my sister and I experienced considerable difficulty collecting information for available services. So, I was very thankful to Patricia Morris for her vision, caring, and creation of the Hands of Hope organization. It has been an invaluable source of direct information provided by guest speakers in our meetings and at caregiver conferences. Additionally, the organization has been able to provide referrals to other supporting agencies. The caregiver group itself has provided a wonderful experience of comradship with others caring for family members. It has been a confidential place to share emotions, problems, concerns, and to give and receive support.
I appreciate this site and its purpose. Many organizations will benefit from the information. I only wish I had had this resource when we were working to support our loved ones.

This is a special thank you to your Hands of Hope program for allowing me to share my story with your group. I committed to my wife that I would help her care for her mother who has dementia. I had no idea how to take care of her needs and it became very stressful. I did lots of research to better understand the disease, but that didn't fully help me to take care of my mother in-law's needs. Finally, I found HoHF and it is such a blessing to be a part of it!

The Hands of Hope Foundation has truly been a blessing to me with the caring of my brother. I have a second Christian family to turn to for my support in helping me whether it be in prayers to keep me lifted up or going out for lunch and relaxation. Also the president Patricia Morris is the guiding light to which she has the knowledge and know how to connect people with resources and people who can help in finding the help needed to assist our loves ones who are in need.
