Welcome

Hands of Hope Foundation (HoHF) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) service and advocacy organization that was formed in 2011 by co-founders Patricia J. Morris, LICSW and Steven Morris, M.Ed out of a personal desire to recognize and help caregivers in Prince George's County Maryland. We are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of professionals in the fields of social services, government, outreach, education and management.

We are driven by our Mission to provide a high level of support to caregivers. We do this by delivering quality community-based resources and services. Whether caring for a family member, long-time friend or neighbor, we understand how taxing this can be. According to the study, Caregiving in the U.S. conducted by the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP, in 2012 65.7 million caregivers or 29% of the U.S. adult population were providing care to someone who was ill, disabled or aged.

Our organization is committed to supporting these vibrant, compassionate and dedicated members of our community as well as reminding them of just how important they really are.
